2. Think about about a background that you would like to have in
3. Decide what you would like your hand to be doing (think of your hand as being a human being)
4. Create two rough sketches of your hand in two different positions
5. Choose your best hand rough sketch and create a final copy of it on white sulphite paper
6. Shade your hand in making sure to use 5 values
7. Add a background/unique landscape behind your hand (make sure your hand is well integrated into the landscape
